Stéfan Louw

Operatic Tenor

Stéfan Louw is a professional tenor who earns his living by singing opera in South Africa and abroad.  He made his debut at the Pretoria State Theatre in 1999, when he was only 25, and received the prestigious FNB Vita Opera Award for Best Newcomer in Opera for that production.  With more than 1,000 performances behind his name, Louw is a well-known face on opera stages and a sought-after vocal coach.

Vocal Coach & Singing Teacher

Stéfan Louw started the School of Singing Parys in 2018, after spending a year singing in Greece. He offers beginners’ singing lessons, specialising in correcting alleged tone-deafness. Further, he works with amateur singers to improve their techniques and vocal capabilities. Stéfan is also a sought after coach for professional singers, where he helps them with interpretation of their opera arias for auditions and preparation for productions.
