School of Singing Parys

The Stéfan Louw School of Singing is in Parys (just over an hour’s drive from Johannesburg). Here Stéfan teaches children and adults the basic principles of singing. Although an opera singer, he does not teach exclusive opera techniques. Students can apply the methods to any genre of music, from pop to R&B. After a free vocal assessment, Stéfan will inform the student into which vocal category they fall. The categories are:

Beginners to Intermediate:
30 minutes per week (R940 per month)

Intermediate to Advanced:
60 minutes per week (R1,650 per month)

Advanced or professional singers can also book a once-off masterclass.
During a masterclass, Stéfan will work with the singer to achieve excellence in the performance of up to 3 works. Singers typically book a masterclass when they are preparing for a competition, performance, or recording. The singer must provide their own pianist or backing tracks for the class. Duration: 120 minutes. Cost: R1,100

School Hours:
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10 am until 7 pm
Fridays from 10 am until 1 pm
Saturdays from 10 am until 1 pm
