Vocal Coaching in South Africa

Many young singers begin performing in school Eisteddfods, talent competitions, and graded singing exams during their teenage years.

At the School of Singing, students aged 13 and older receive structured vocal coaching to help them develop healthy technique, musical confidence, and stage presence.

With decades of professional performance experience, Stéfan Louw guides young singers step by step as they prepare for performances, competitions, and formal music assessments.

Lessons are available both in person and as online vocal lessons across South Africa, making professional coaching accessible regardless of location.

Training draws directly on Stéfan’s professional performing career and his experience mentoring developing young singers preparing for performances, examinations, and tertiary music study. He teaches the core principles of healthy singing rather than genre-specific tricks. Although an opera tenor, he does not teach exclusive opera techniques. Students learn a reliable technical foundation that supports classical, contemporary, and musical theatre repertoire, including correct vocal cord use, breath control, microphone technique, musical interpretation, and confident performance practice.
